+What kind of HDMI cable should I prepare to connect my console to CAPTURE 4K?

 

Please ensure you have HDMI 2.0 certified cables for 4K/60 fps passthrough resolution. If you’re looking for a new HDMI cable, make sure you get an HDMI 1.4 certified cable for 4K/30 fps capturing.

+Why can't my camera be used as the video source to capture through CAPTURE 4K?

 

The Streamplify CAPTURE 4K is compatible with a wide range of devices. It works best with all current-gen consoles and is also compatible with Windows and Mac OS systems. CAPTURE 4K can capture any HDMI input, but it’s best to verify your camera’s compatibility. Various camera brands on the market could have different video formats. We recommend referring to the camera’s manual or contacting the manufacturer to confirm compatibility before buying.

+Why can’t I set up 4K resolution in OBS?

 

Make sure you use HDMI 2.0 cables for 4K/60 fps passthrough or HDMI 1.4 for 4k/30 fps capture. Ensure your input source is set to 4K resolution output and adjust the settings in OBS to match the 4K resolution.

+Why is there no audio output when I stream through OBS?

 

Please make sure you have added a separate audio track in OBS when capturing. Check the audio settings in OBS to ensure the correct audio input source is selected.
